This artist from Sterling Illinois may not be Bob Dylan or Tom Waits exactly, but he’s damn close. Trevor Sensor is a Chicago based artist whose voice is scratchy, nasally, rough and even sometimes prickly. But that harshness mixed with his moments of smoothness pulls you in and causes you to fall in love. With his intellectual lyrics and his indie mixed with punk sound, Sensor stands out from a lot of artists that are up and coming today. His music is a great mix up from the average day sound because he doesn’t care if the music is pretty or is it makes people feel good. His music is to challenge individuals and make them think.
